Deposit and cancellation policies:

Check-In: 3 pm

Check-Out: 10 am

To save any misunderstandings, please carefully review our cancellation policy, as we can rarely make exceptions as we are a seasonal business. We will charge your credit card for a one-night deposit to confirm your booking. 

Reservations will only be guaranteed with a valid credit card at time of booking. Minimum age of booking is 21 years old. We will require photo ID to confirm you meet this requirement at check in. 

For single-storey and 2-storey suites bookings, cancelations/changes must be made by no later than 3 pm, seven days prior to the check-in date and time. Full charge- full stay if cancelled with 2 days of arrival. First night stay fee if cancelled between 2 days to 7 days before the arrival date.

As we are a small property, special policies apply to group bookings of 3 or more suites in July/August. We require 30 days notice of cancellations for group bookings and a one-night deposit will be processed for each suite reserved.

No shows will be charged for the entire stay booked to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation,

Gateway to Greenwich Suites reserves the right to either charge or pre-authorize the provided credit cards up to one night’s room rate upon reservation.  Non-valid credit cards will result in automatic cancellation of the reservation. Gateway to Greenwich Suites also reserves the right to collect, through pre-authorization at check-in, at least $ 150 per room as deposit for incidentals or damage.  

We understand that there are unknowns related to COVID and the ability to travel.  As such, for any guests from Atlantic Canada, we will provide a 100% refund of your deposit if travel restrictions are in place that don’t allow you to travel to PEI for your reservation dates.  For guests outside of Atlantic Canada, please contact us to discuss our policy.  

Other Terms and Conditions

We pride ourselves on providing a relaxing and memorable vacation for all of our guests.  We ask that you respect the following terms and conditions to help us maintain quality standards:   

  • Balance of payment is due at check in and all reservations are subject to Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) of 15%.  
  • Non-Smoking:  All of our suites are non-smoking inside your unit, with smoking permitted only on your private deck.  A minimum penalty of one night rate will be charged for violation of this rule with potential for eviction at the discretion of management.  
  • Occupancy Levels: Please respect our occupancy levels as we do not permit check in above the maximum level.  ·         
  • No pets allowed.         
  • Noise Levels:  We ask that you respect other guests right to a good night sleep by maintaining noise levels to acceptable levels with a quiet time of 11pm.    ·         
  • Check out/Check In: Our housekeepers take great pride is providing clean suites for you. We appreciate your assistance by respecting check out time of 10 am and check in time of 3pm. If you plan on arriving after 9 pm please contact us so we can make arrangements for late check in.
