Time is flying by!
Let me start by telling you about our official opening. On July 27th, the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay helped make our day very special by presenting remarks at our official opening. About thirty friends, tourism colleagues, government officials, and advisors we hired throughout our renovations attended and we were very happy to have this little celebration.
Luckily for us, we have been full most of the time and we had customers that were gracious enough to checkout on time so we could get that suite cleaned for the celebration. It was a pleasure to have it open on this day for everyone to see.
We had food catered by the little café across the road: the Black and White Café. They have been providing breakfast for our guests all season long and it has been a great partnership. While I am at it, I would like to recognize some of the individuals who helped make this dream come through:

Since that day, we have been busy cleaning, keeping the property looking tidy, taking reservations, paying bills and being the entrepreneurs we wanted to be.
We know that September can be very busy too. We hope that some visitors to the Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation (CCCCA) will stay with us and of course, we expect the Harvest Home Festival to be a sell out. Now that students are going back to school, there will be couples, seniors and friends thinking of visiting PEI. I hope you will think about staying with us. September brings perfect weather for hiking and cycling, and we are steps from the best trails. We are 17 minutes from Crowbush, and 23 minutes from Brudenell and Dundarave golf courses. These are among the best courses on PEI. Warm days and cool gentle evenings are waiting for you!
